Seattle Tours

Seattle offers tourists and locals alike the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this spectacular city with tours by land, sea and air.

Honestly, I don’t know how one visits Seattle without taking a tour of some kind. It’s a must. While there are many tours in Seattle, here are couple you might find interesting.

Ride the Ducks of Seattle

Tour the Emerald City by land and sea aboard the WWII amphibious landing craft. This is one of the must-do attractions in Seattle. You can’t leave the city without going in this ride.

The 90-minutes tour takes you to downtown attractions first and then takes you to the
Waters of Lake Union to see those houseboats, yachts and the spectacular view of the skyline of Seattle. It’s really a cool and fun ride. The certified coast guard captain is hilarious.

The Ride the Ducks is located directly across from EMP, diagonal to the Space Needles on the corner of 5th and Broad. Tickets are $23-Adults, with Quacker is $25. Kids 12 and younger $13, with Quacker is $15. Babies two and under are free.

Qwest Field Tours

As a sports fan, there’s nothing like visiting your favorite team’s home field. The Qwest Field is the home of the NFC West Champion Seattle Seahawks. This beautiful state-of-the-art stadium is one of the best in the country.

The Qwest tour takes you to the luxury suites, where you get the best seat in the house. You get to walk into the visitors’ locker room and finally walk on the field’s turf-playing surface as Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck does.

The 90-minute tour will entertain and educate you about the game.

Tickets can be purchase at the pro shop located on the west side of Qwest field on Occidental Ave. They are $7 – adults, $5 -children (4-12), $5 – seniors (65+), and kids under three are free.

Kenmore Air Scenic Flights

If you don’t have a fear of flying, the Kenmore Air Scenic Flight tour is the best way to see Seattle at a different angle. Flying 1,000 feet up over the downtown waterfront, Space Needle, the busy University of Washington campus, Green Lake, and more is absolutely fantastic. It’s quite an experience.

The twenty-minute flight over Seattle starts at $79 for adults and $59 children 2-11.

They have other scheduled flights such as; 35 minutes to Victoria’s Inner Harbour and 45 minutes to the San Juan Islands.

They have two terminals: Downtown in Lake Union, 950 Westlake Ave.N. and North Lake Washington, 6321 NE 175th in Kenmore.
