Shopping in Seattle

Bellevue Square - Bellevue, Seattle - SeattleVacationGuide.comFrom Designers stores to cozy boutiques, Seattle’s shopping has something for everyone.

One of the many places for your next shopping spree is Downtown, Seattle. With more than 1,800 retail stores you will find almost everything you need here including department stores, furniture galleries, outlets, housewares, National and International stores and more.

The Eddie Bauer and REI flagship store are also found here. So, if you are an outdoor type, the REI, a.k.a. Recreational Equipment Incorporated is like the granddaddy of outdoor gears and clothing. This store is huge. It is located at 222 Yale Ave. N, which is about one mile from the Pike Place Market.

Aside from fresh produce and salmon, the Pike Place in downtown has a lot of small shops too. Here, you’ll find a lot of souvenirs to take home from your trip, such as hand-made jewelries, a bottle of their famous Washington wines, coffee blends made from the original Starbucks store and many others.

You can’t leave Pike Place without stopping by Chukar Cherry Company. They specialized in naturally dried cherries, berries and nuts. Try the chocolate-covered cherries, it’s the best. They’re located at Pike Place Market – Main Arcade.

The Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and the Lincoln Square, better known as the Bellevue Collection, are the Northwest premier shopping destinations. And I can relate with that. There are over 250 stores, including some of my favorites, such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Pottery Barn and Banana Republic.

For dining, they have the Cheesecake Factory, P.F.Chang’s China Bistro, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and many more restaurants.

When you’re done with dinner and want to relax and see a movie, they also have a 16-screen premier cinema. There’s everything you can ask for in a shopping center and then some.

What I like the most here is the parking. It has 10,000 retail parking spaces. Where else can you find that?

Shopping Hours: Mon-Sat, 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Sun 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

If you want to check it out, it’s located on Bellevue Way between NE 4th and NE 10th Street in downtown Bellevue, Washington. For more information call Guest Services at 425.454.8096.
